Technical durability and aesthetical longevity of building skins are among the fundamental demands sustainable architecture in terms fabric’s physical changes due to deterioration. This concept paper presents a design intended fill existing gap related limited buildings non-existing methods for its effective extension. The study concentrates on anticipation assimilation disintegration processes occurring time into architectural methodology promote techniques focused visual expression coexistence nature artificial function time. investigates building’s enclosure as an active boundary through which interaction with natural environment occurs, well regulator energy performance factor conditioning their durability. consideration formal esthetical deconstruction is followed by analyses some relevant examples completed cultural determinants underlying this issue. proposed Apparent Destruction Architectural Design (ADAD) addresses time-dependency skins’ properties manifested deterioration, destruction re-figuration fabric. offers solution disturbing problem architecture’s impermanence enhances issue sustainability fabric time, becomes means search unconventional comprehension vision architecture, reframe toward compliance postulates aesthetic concept.
